Tasting Note
Rich, full-bodied Margaux: blackberries, black cherry, violets, licorice, cedar and espresso with graphite notes. Silky but firm tannins, plush texture and long, perfumed finish.
Food Pairing
Roast lamb, beef short ribs, venison, aged hard cheeses; Asian: Peking duck, char siu, braised beef with soy, Cantonese roast meats.
Production Method
Hand-harvested, sorted, gravity-fed vinification in temperature-controlled conical vats; malolactic fermentation in oak; aged ~18–20 months in French oak barrels (partial new oak).
