Tasting Note

Evolved plum and dried cherry with leather, truffle, tobacco and forest-floor notes; soft, velvety mid‑palate, gentle ripe tannins and a long savoury, earthy finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast lamb, braised beef, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean bulgogi or galbi, soy‑braised beef, miso aubergine.


Production Method

Hand-harvested; destemmed and fermented in concrete vats; malolactic fermentation followed by ~16–18 months in French oak (portion new). Classical Right Bank vinification.

Small 7–8 hectare estate historically linked to Mme Loubat and Pétrus; farmed by Établissements Jean‑Pierre Moueix since 1962; gravel, clay and loam soils producing Merlot‑dominated wines.
