Tasting Note

Dense, opulent Pauillac: baked blackcurrant, blackberry compote, cherry, prune with cedar, tobacco, espresso and smoked leather. Luxuriously textured, glyceric mid-palate, low acidity and very long, savory finish with hints of graphite and spice.


Food Pairing

Western: roast lamb, ribeye, beef Wellington, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (BBQ pork), Korean barbecue (galbi), rich mushroom or soy-braised beef dishes.


Production Method

Hand-harvested Bordeaux blend; fermented in temperature-controlled vats, malolactic fermentation, matured ~18–24 months in French oak (significant new oak), blended and estate-bottled.

Château Latour, 1er Cru Classé (Pauillac). Historic ‘L’Enclos’ vineyards, long-lived vines; owned by François Pinault/Artémis; renowned for Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blends and exceptional cellar practices.
