Tasting Note
Dense ruby with cassis, black and blue fruit, graphite, cedar and forest-floor notes. Firm, polished tannins, vivid acidity and mineral/crushed-rock finish; focused, savory and long-lasting.
Food Pairing
Western: roast leg of lamb, ribeye, beef bourguignon, mushroom risotto, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (roast pork), braised beef with soy, Korean bulgogi or yakiniku (grilled wagyu).
Production Method
Hand-harvested; destemmed; parcel fermentation (~3 weeks) in temperature-controlled vats; malolactic in vats/barrels; matured ~18 months in 100% new French oak; blended and bottled after tasting.

Château Latour is a 1er Cru Classé (1855) in Pauillac. The estate (~78 ha) farms the Enclos (47 ha) for the Grand Vin. Owned by François Pinault, Latour is renowned for powerful, long-lived Cabernet-led wines and is moving towards biodynamic practices.
