Tasting Note
Concentrated cassis and blackberry layers with graphite, pencil lead, violet, tobacco and saline minerality. Impeccably structured, with very fine-grained, cashmere tannins and a long, mineral-driven finish.

Food Pairing
Roasted ribeye, lamb chops, beef Wellington, aged hard cheeses; Asian: Peking duck, beef bulgogi, char siu, Sichuan peppercorn beef, Korean BBQ short ribs.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, destemmed, fermented in temperature-controlled vats; only ~30% of crop to Grand Vin. Aged ~18–20 months in 100% new French oak; estate began working organically across all vineyards in 2015.

Château Latour, a 1855 First Growth in Pauillac (approx. 78 ha), produces its Grand Vin from the enclosed 'L'Enclos' parcel. Owned by Groupe Artemis (François Pinault) since 1993; long-established reputation for ageworthy, terroir-driven wines.
