Tasting Note
Concentrated blackcurrant, blackberry and blueberry with cedar, graphite, tobacco, violet and dried herb notes. Silk-like texture, very fine ripe tannins, bright freshness and an extremely long, mineral finish.

Roast lamb, rib‑eye, beef Wellington, aged hard cheeses; Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ beef, miso-glazed aubergine, beef rendang.
Production Method
Hand-harvested; fermented in wood, concrete and stainless steel; malolactic fermentation and extended maceration; aged ~18–20 months in French oak (≈90% new in 2017).

Owned by the Delon family; estate spans ~97 ha including the Grand Clos in northern Saint-Julien. Classified Deuxième Cru (1855); produces Grand Vin and second wines (Clos du Marquis, Le Petit Lion).
