Tasting Note
Fragrant red and black cherry, raspberry and violet with crushed limestone, smoked meat and spice. Palate is concentrated, silky with powdery tannins, bright acidity and a saline, lingering finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast duck, confit, lamb, beef tenderloin, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, wagyu or Korean BBQ, miso aubergine, hoisin-glazed pork.

Production Method
Biodynamic viticulture; partial destemming; indigenous yeast fermentation (short maceration); aged 10–18 months in French oak (significant new oak); no fining, minimal/no filtration.

Domaine du Comte Liger‑Belair is a historic Vosne-Romanée producer (family-owned, biodynamic) owning La Romanée monopole; Reignots parcel ~0.73 ha with old vines (planted 1925–1985).
