Tasting Note
Elegant red Burgundy: red cherry and raspberry, floral violet notes, subtle game/reduction, steamed earth and limestone minerality. Fresh acidity, discreet fine tannins, silky mid-palate and a long, scented finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast duck, beef bourguignon, lamb, mushroom risotto, pork loin. Asian: Peking duck, miso‑glazed salmon, char siu, shiitake and soy stir‑fry, Korean bulgogi.

Production Method
Biodynamic viticulture. Hand-harvested, double-sorted, destemmed with cold soak, spontaneous fermentation. Aged 12–15 months predominantly in new French oak, minimal intervention, rarely fined or filtered.

Domaine du Comte Liger‑Belair, family estate with roots to Napoleonic era; rebuilt under Louis‑Michel Liger‑Belair. Estate ~10.5 ha, certified biodynamic. Clos du Château is a small walled monopole parcel in Vosne on marl/limestone (c.0.72 ha) with mature vines.
