Tasting Note
Mature, full-bodied Margaux: cassis, black plum, cedar, truffle, pencil lead and dried floral notes with tobacco and tertiary leather. Silky texture, refined yet powerful tannins and long, mineral finish.

Food Pairing
Roast lamb, beef tournedos, duck confit, mushroom risotto; Asian: Peking duck, soy-braised short ribs, char siu, miso-glazed eggplant.

Production Method
Classic left-bank vinification: maceration and fermentation in vats, extended aging in French oak (c.18–24 months) with careful selection of barrels before bottling.

Vineyard Info
Château Margaux, a Premier Grand Cru Classé (1855), was restored after purchase by André Mentzelopoulos in 1977; managed since by the Mentzelopoulos family. Renowned for gravel soils and Cabernet-dominant plantings.
