Aromatic red fruits and violets with cedar, black tea, toasted oak, and subtle cassis; powerful, fresh yet firm tannins and a long, classic finish.

Western: roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck à l'orange, mushroom risotto, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking/Cantonese roast duck, braised beef (red-cooked), Korean BBQ beef, char siu, miso-glazed aubergine.
