Tasting Note: Perfumed red and black cherry, violet and spice with baking‑chocolate and subtle smoky oak. Lively acidity, firm fine-grained tannins and penetrating mineral note; concentrated, vertical and built for long aging.
Food Pairing: Western: roast duck, duck à l'orange, beef bourguignon, braised short ribs, lamb rack. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, soy‑braised beef short ribs (Korean galbi), miso‑glazed eggplant, earthy mushroom hot pot.
Vineyard Info: Tiny 0.3 ha parcel on a cool, stony northeast slope; old vines (planted ~1950s). Parcel made famous by Henri Jayer; Méo‑Camuzet farms a small holding and makes this as their smallest, ageworthy cuvée.
