Tasting Note
Deep purple-black. Aromas of black cherry, cassis, plum, violets, pencil lead and truffle. Full-bodied, dense core of black fruit, refined powdery tannins, bright freshness and a long mineral-tinged finish.

Roast lamb, beef fillet, game (western); truffle risotto, mushroom pasta; Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ short ribs, braised beef with soy/hoisin (Asian).

Production Method
Hand-harvested; fermentation in temperature-controlled vats; matured ~18–22 months in French oak (≈78–79% new); blended and bottled at the château.

Château La Mission Haut-Brion, a historic Pessac-Léognan cru, has been owned by Domaine Clarence Dillon since 1983; estate origins date to the 17th century and it is renowned for top Bordeaux reds.
