Tasting Note
Explosive aromatics of eucalyptus/menthol, cassis, black cherry, tobacco, cedar, coffee and Asian spices. Dense, opulent and concentrated with fine-grained tannins and a remarkably long, persistent finish (decades).

Production Method
Traditional Bordeaux vinification: hand-harvested grapes, extended maceration and fermentation in open/wooden vats (pre-temperature-control era), matured in oak barrels producing concentrated, ageworthy wine.

Vineyard Info
Château Mouton‑Rothschild, a legendary Pauillac first growth, commissioned the 1945 ‘V for Victory’ label by Philippe Jullian; the estate rose to First Growth status later (1973) and is famed for artistic labels and historic quality.
