Perfumed red and black cherry, wild raspberry, violets, sous-bois, Asian spice and a mineral spine; silky texture, supple tannins and a long, spicy finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, gentle extraction; fermented with moderate whole-cluster; aged ~12–18 months in French oak barrels (small portion new).

Family domaine founded by Philippe Charlopin (est. 1977), grown to ~25 ha across the Côte de Nuits; son Yann now works with Philippe. Producer makes several premier and grand crus including Echézeaux.
