Tasting Note
Black and red fruit (blackberry, plum), violet and cocoa notes with garrigue and mineral undertones; chalky, fine tannins, lively acidity, medium–full body and a long savory finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Tinta de Toro; cold soak and fermentation in oak vats, ≈60% malolactic in barrel and aged ~12–13 months mainly in new French with some American oak.

Bodegas Pintia (part of the Vega Sicilia group) farms high-altitude vineyards around San Román de Hornija and Pedrosa del Rey; planted with old Tinta de Toro clones, first Pintia release in 2001.
