Tasting Note
Concentrated cassis, black cherry and blackberry with lavender, graphite, cedar and cocoa. Polished yet firm tannins, mineral undertow and bay/olive-herb notes. Full-bodied, layered and long, with powerful dark-fruit core and mountain freshness.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, braised short ribs, aged cheddar. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi/galbi), Peking duck, char siu, Sichuan-style beef, teriyaki steak.

Production Method
Hand-harvested mountain fruit; small‑lot fermentations with extended maceration. Aged primarily in new French oak barrels (~18–22 months). Minimal filtration; traditional cellar techniques to preserve structure and terroir.

Estate project of H. William Harlan on the Yountville hills. Low-yield, mountain vineyards focused on terroir-driven Cabernet; Davide Cilli led the 2015 vintage winemaking.
