Tasting Note
Citrus and stone fruit with brioche and toasted hazelnut, flinty minerality; rich, textured palate with bright acidity and a long, saline finish.

Food Pairing
Seared scallops, sole meunière, langoustines, roast chicken, creamy pasta or mushroom risotto; sushi/sashimi, miso-glazed cod, tempura vegetables, and light Chinese seafood stir-fries.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; gentle pressing and cold settling (up to ~36 hours); fermented and aged in French oak (minor proportion new) with regular bâtonnage for 8–12 months.

Vineyard Info
Monopole 'Clos Pitois' (≈1.44 ha), vines planted in the early 1950s. Domaine Roger Belland is a multi-generation family estate (based in Santenay) producing premier- and grand-cru sites; Roger and daughter Julie run the domaine.
