Tasting Note
Concentrated black cherry and plum with floral and clove spice, pine/resin and tobacco notes. Juicy acidity, powerful yet finely textured tannins and a long savory, mineral finish.

Food Pairing
Roast lamb, grilled ribeye, beef stew, aged cheddar; Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Sichuan beef, char siu pork, miso-glazed aubergine.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, destemmed and fermented with post-ferment maceration; matured ~11 months in mostly new 400L French oak barrels.

Owned and developed by Symington Family Estates (acquired 2017). Estate sits in Serra de São Mamede with low-yield vines and mixed soils; Symingtons are a multi-generation Port-producing family.
