Food Pairing: Western: roast lamb, braised short ribs, venison, aged cheddar. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Sichuan pepper beef, char siu, beef rendang — rich, grilled or spice-forward dishes.
Vineyard Info: Torbreck, founded by David Powell in 1994 at Marananga (Barossa), produces Rhône-style wines from old-vine Barossa fruit; RunRig is the estate flagship made from very old Shiraz vines.
