Tasting Note
Perfumed rose and violet with mandarin, wild red cherry and plum, lifted by tar, licorice and mineral notes. Silky, fresh and mouth‑filling with polished yet firm tannins and a long, persistent finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roasted or braised red meats, beef short ribs, mushroom or truffle pasta, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, hoisin-glazed pork, shiitake/mushroom stir-fries, Korean BBQ (galbi), rich noodle dishes with umami sauces.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Nebbiolo; gentle pressing, 3–4 week fermentation with submerged-cap method; malolactic in wood; aged ~30 months in large oak casks; bottled unfined/unfiltered.

Vietti, founded late 1800s in Castiglione Falletto. Rocche vineyard has vines planted 1940/1950/1968, SE exposure, grey-blue marly soils, ~4,600 plants/ha; small single-parcel production.
