Tasting Note
Deep purple Malbec with blueberry, blackberry and plum, violet and lavender florals, graphite/mineral lift, cedar, tobacco and dark chocolate notes. Medium-full body, refined grainy tannins, bright acidity and a long, polished finish.

Food Pairing
Grilled ribeye, roasted lamb, beef empanadas, mushroom risotto; Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Szechuan beef, char siu pork, spicy Korean stews.

Production Method
Hand-harvested high-elevation fruit; fermented in temperature-controlled vessels; aged ~18 months in French oak (majority new); bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Viña Cobos (Paul Hobbs) acquired Chañares Estate in Valle de Uco. High-altitude, rocky alluvial/granitic soils with preserved native chañar trees; vineyard planted 2007, focused on terroir-driven Malbec.
