Floral (pressed yellow flowers) with candied orange peel, apricot, honeyed orchard fruit, toasted hazelnut and subtle spice. Rich, rounded mid-palate with saline minerality, moderate oak and a long, slightly drying finish.

Western: lobster with beurre blanc, roasted scallops, creamy chicken or poultry, aged soft cheeses (Époisses, Chaource). Asian: miso-glazed black cod, seared scallops with soy-butter, Cantonese roasted duck, richer sushi (toro) or creamy Japanese/Thai dishes.
