Tasting Note
Perfumed, floral nose of violet and rose with red and black cherry, plum, orange zest and spice. Medium–full-bodied, silky texture, fine powdery tannins, bright acidity and mineral lift, finishing long and elegant.
Food Pairing
Western: roast duck, lamb, mushroom risotto, beef tenderloin; Asian: Peking duck, miso‑glazed black cod or salmon, char siu, bulgogi, shiitake stir‑fry.
Production Method
Hand-harvested, sorted and destemmed. Fermented with moderate extraction and punch‑downs; aged 15–18 months in French oak (c.50% new). Mostly bottled unfiltered.
Vineyard Info
Domaine Méo‑Camuzet is a historic Vosne‑Romanee estate (family‑run); Jean‑Nicolas Méo revived the domaine. Les Chaumes is a ~2‑ha premier‑cru parcel of mature vines producing concentrated, terroir‑driven Pinot Noir.
